<image:caption>I'm a pediatric oncology hospitalist and assistant professor at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. I write to make sense of what I witness — and to build something useful from it. My research focuses on how we communicate with families during cancer care, and I'm developing a narrative medicine curriculum for oncology trainees that I hope will change how the next generation of physicians hold grief.</image:caption>
